The Heavy Marine Chain Necklace

Handmade in Edinburgh, this piece is carved, cast and finished entirely by hand using recycled sterling silver. Each link is individually shaped and soldered, giving the chain a solid, weighty feel — around 114g of sterling silver. The chain is approximately 17” in length - this can also be customised. 

Designed to sit between everyday wear and statement jewellery, it’s a simple, clean silhouette with a lot of impact. The marine link structure gives it a classic, slightly industrial feel, while the hand-finished surface keeps it soft and refined.

Please note: Each link is finished by hand, and I’ve intentionally kept subtle file marks and tool textures throughout the piece. It’s not a perfectly machined, high-gloss chain, the marks are part of the design, highlighting the handmade process and giving the bracelet a more honest, crafted feel.

Made to order. Finished with a secure lobster clasp.
